Status A perfectly healthy group of players lasted four and a half innings for the Mets.
After bringing back JD Davis after a long stint on the injured list, Francisco Lindor lost to an apparent injury in the fifth inning of a Mets game against the Pirates in Pittsburgh on Friday night.
The high-priced shortstop caught the groundball on his right after hitting it to the right. He jogged lightly at first base and was replaced in the following innings by Louis Guillaume.
The 27-year-old Lindor, who signed a 10-year $341 million contract extension in the offseason, singled out his first at-bat, before being grounded in his next two trips to the plate.
The Mets were overwhelmed with injuries in the first half of the season. Lindor was one of the few who did not miss the time. But now that may change.
