Social Media Cancels Addison Rae For Saying ‘Hi’ To Former President Trump

Is it possible to be “cancelled” after a handshake?

This may be the case for TikTok star Addison Rae, 20, after he recently congratulated former 75-year-old former President Donald Trump.

Various celebrities gathered together to watch Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor fight at the UFC 264 event in Las Vegas on July 11. The audience mix included TikTok creators such as Rae, film stars including Mel Gibson, and former politicians such as Trump.

However, the real drama happened when Rai decided to give the former president a pat on the shoulder and politely introduce himself while sitting among his entourage.

The video shows the content creator—who was at the event for a side gig doing red carpet interviews—reaching out to the former commander-in-chief and saying, “Hi! I’m Edison. Nice to meet you.”

Once TikTok caught her attention, the two shook hands and she mentioned that she just had to “say hi” and that it was “great to meet you.”
